Dalia’s POV

I woke up on Monday with mixed feelings. I was partially excited that I got to see Alexander again after the weekend we had. I was also worried that I would have to walk on eggshells around him at the office. Just because he was nice to me when his daughter was there doesn’t mean he’d be nice to me at the office too.

While I got ready he was the only thing on my mind but I lowered my expectations, should he decide that I’m not worthy of being respected outside of his home.

I met Chelsea on my way out and she whistled in amazement when she saw me.

“Girlllllll, you look like a million bucks. Did you do something with your hair? You look totally hot,” she complimented me.

“Is it that obvious that I did something with my hair? Jeez, it just happened,” I partially lied. I did do something with my hair but I wasn’t going for something that was obvious.
