Dalia’s POV

I got back to work immediately he left for his office and was on cloud 9 for the rest of the day. I was happy because he was warming up towards me but also wary and scared of opening up to a new person.

I thought about what Chelsea said. It’s time I moved on from the past and allowed myself to feel something for someone else. He still remains my boss and I can’t just jump on him like that.

Work passed by in a breeze that day and I ended up getting off work later than usual. I finished up my work and left the office. I was about to step out of the company when the rain started pouring suddenly.

It was not stated in the weather forecast today that it’s going to rain today. Or maybe it was stated and I just did not know, it’s not like I check the weather forecast. I saw people passing by me with umbrellas and cursed myself for not checking the weather forecast.
