Dalia’s POV

He seemed to be taken aback for a while before he pulled me closer and kissed me hard. Our tongues fought for dominance, our bodies so close until there wasn’t any space between us again but I kept trying to get closer to him.

I did not know how much my body had missed him until he was kissing me with passion again. We kissed until I felt the need to breathe again. He rested his forehead against mine, breathing heavily. He gently caressed my chin and lifted it so our eyes were meeting.

His lips looked swollen and his hair disheveled but it only added to his hotness. “Does this mean you’ve forgiven me?” He whispered into the space between us with a pleading look in his eyes.

“I hope I’m not making another mistake by giving in to how I feel for you, Xander,” I said in a small voice before looking down at my hands. He raised my head such that I was looking him straight in the eyes.
