Chapter 55. Happy Days

Amy stayed in the hospital for four days. Samuel took days off from work to accompany her. He spoiled her until she thought she had a severe illness, not pregnant. He didn’t let her stand for too long. Then he would buy so much food too. 

When the doctor checked on Amy’s condition, he nodded. “It’s good! It will take a few weeks for the wound to heal completely. But so far, it’s good progress. You can go home.”

Samuel and Amy visited an ob-gyn first to check on the baby. The doctor made a thorough examination. 

“So far, nothing to worry about. You will need a few food supplements, though. I’ll write the receipt. Drink these regularly.”

“Yes, Doctor.”

“Is there any question? Anything?” The doctor smiled. “As it’s your first child, it’s normal to be careful, but you can be relaxed as your baby is in a good condition. Please eat regularly, sleep well, and have no stress.”
