Dwayne's POV

My hand was still shaking because I punched Kean hard. He is a big fool. If he really tries to hurt Keila, she'll be mad at me.

I don't want to see her crying and hurting again. I've made that stupid mistake before, and I don't want anybody else to do that to her again.

I just held my grip on the steering wheel. I also drove for an hour before I got home. When I opened the door, I was surprised to see Jenelle facing me. It's late at night; why is he still awake?

"What's the matter?" I asked as I approached her. "Why are you still awake?"

"I'm waiting for you," he answered. "You always come home at night, Brother. I'm worried about you. Is there a problem? Is it about Dana again? Brother, isn't it—" I didn't let him finish his speech.

I just messed up her hair. "Baby sis, I'm okay. It's not about Dana anymore. And don't worry, from now on I won't stay up late. Maybe just once." I laughed to assure her I'm fine. I drew him closer to me
