Kean's POV
"It's not that easy to do that, and I don't want to do that," was my answer. He almost finished his wine in just three drinks. "Dana will understand me too."
"Remember this, Kean, when someone cries for my children. I will never let them come near you again." He finished his wine and stood up. "Remember what I told you."
I just watched him as he left. He said goodbye to Keila.
I just watched Keila while I was away, and she looked happy. I just smiled at what I saw. This is all I want—to see him happy.
"Kean, are you okay? Did Papa say anything to you?" She asked worriedly.
"Just boys talk," was my answer. "I'm going home too. Thank you for inviting me here. I must have had the wrong timing."
"It's okay; there's nothing."
Keila took me outside their house. He looked at me and seemed like he wanted to tell me something that he couldn't say.
