Chapter 49
Keila's POV
(Now Playing: Sofa by Jungkook)
Our call time for the semi-finals was earlier, so I was not able to visit the hospital to say hello to Hailey. Kean said that Hailey would also come out later. I feel a little relieved to know that he is fine. I don't know, but I want to see Kean later while we are dancing, but I know he needs Hailey first. When he's there, I get stronger. Maybe he also wants me to be around when they play because we feel the same way.
"Keila," Dwayne said suddenly as we sat backstage. "Whatever distractions you have right now, get rid of them first. I don't want the team to lose just because you're distracted; you're better than that," he said seriously. He stood up and left. I was left dumbfounded where I stood.
I don't want the team to lose because of me. Dwayne is right; maybe I shouldn't think about Kean first because I might not be able to focus even more. We are graduating, so this is our last chance to win the championship.
