Chapter 53

Keila's POV

"Dana," I whispered. The strength and speed of my heartbeat He was looking at us the same way as Kean, but I couldn't read what was on his mind. He slowly walked towards us. "Dana, what are you doing here?" I will ask.

"I would like to talk to you," he answered. "Is it okay? Won't I disturb you and Kean?" he asked. Kean and I looked at each other, and he smiled at me.

"I'm on my way home. I'd better leave you guys," Kean told me. "Bye, see you tomorrow."

Kean didn't make any more sweet gestures before he finally left. Maybe we are thinking the same thing. He also doesn't want to be sweet to me in front of Dana because we might just hurt him, and I don't want that to happen. It's hard, but I don't want to increase my brother's anger toward me.

"Come on inside." I offer

"I don't want your mom to see me anymore, so if it's okay, we can just talk outside?"

"Alright, no problem with me," I answered. "Where do you want to go?"
