Chapter 149. The Ferdinand’s Downfall

Patricia and Alice kept looking around discreetly even after thanking the doctor and nurses as they left before carefully locking the hospital room door. Wrapped around their head are scarves and sunglasses. They heaved a sigh of relief as soon as they were left alone in the room with Ferdinand on the sick bed.

“I was scared to death”, Patricia said in relief, unwrapping the scarf off her head, same with Alice as they both collapsed on the chair, exhausted.

They had sneaked Ferdinand away from the other hospital due to the people’s riot in concern about their finances and the reporter’s trouble; due to fear of being attacked, they had to sneak Ferdinand out of the hospital through the back door and transport him to another hospital discreetly.

“For how long are we going to continue doing this? Are we going to keep hiding for the rest of our lives?”, Alice asked angrily,
