Сhapter 102. Sit and Wait

Amelie’s POV

I’ve made a makeshift brace for Nancy’s ankle and fashioned a sling from a ripped bed sheet for Captain Thomas. The extra credit first aid & survival training I took in high school sure came in handy today. Both Nancy and Thomas are lying on the bed in the back of the plane. They need to relax and stay calm. I gave them some painkillers I had in my bag, hoping they would get some sleep.

We have all tried to get reception on our phones to no avail. I even tried the radio in the flight deck.

I managed to open the plane's outside door and ensure it closed securely. If no one finds us right away, it could be a very cold night. Luckily, Kimmy found some extra blankets and towels in the bedroom. I’ve located the flares onboard. There are only three. I doubt anyone would see them during the day.
