Nathan’s POV

Amelie should be here any minute. It has been over six hours since I saw her this morning, and it seems like an eternity. To say she has consumed me is an understatement. She is constantly on my mind, and I’m finding myself not caring about anything else. Once she is here, everything will be better.

I wandered out of my office and into the reception area. Samira gives me a curious look.

“Is there something you need, Dr. Michaels?” she smiled.

“No, thank you, Samira, just stretching my legs,” I replied.
