Chapter 32. Signed
Amelie’s POV
I stared at the ring Nathan had placed on my finger. It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I don’t care what the contract says. I reached over, grabbed the pen, and flipped to the last page. I scribble my signature on it.
“We didn’t even finish going over the details,” Nathan looked at me, confused.
“I trust you, Nathan. I know you won’t do anything to hurt me,” I announced.
He smiles, and I feel his happiness deep down in my core. I feel like it matches mine at this moment. I almost blurted out all my feelings for him, but I stopped myself because I knew I would be making a fool of myself.
Nathan pops open the champagne bottle and pours two glasses. “Well, this calls for a celebration,” he says as he hands me a glass of champagne. “To our upcoming wedding!”
