Madison’s POV

Paul is amazing. I can’t believe that someone knows my horrible truth but is still willing to support me. I would think no one would want such a damaged human being. I feel dirty and soiled. Used and discarded. Paul didn’t seem to care, though. What he was, though, was angry, so very angry. Angry that my father could do this to me. An intense anger that could lead him to do something stupid to my father. The problem was that he didn’t even know half of it. I was afraid to tell him all the sordid details. How could anyone learn to love someone so… broken?
