Alec POV

Nothing prepared me for this moment.

Three little bodies crashing into my arms, calling me Daddy, telling me how much they missed me. Children I didn’t even know existed until yesterday.

For the first time in years, I felt the burn of tears I couldn't hold back.

“I missed you more,” I mumbled and kissed their foreheads.

When I looked up, Mabel stood a few feet away, her eyes filled with emotion.

My daughter pulled back a little and pointed at her two brothers. “This is Damian, and this is Nathaniel. I am Eloise.”

I smiled. “Nice to meet you. I'm Alec Rivera.”

Nathaniel pointed at the truck. “Is that for us?”

I nodded. “Yes. Everything.”
