Mabel POV
I switched off the room lights and sauntered to the hallway.
My heels clicked on the floor as I made my way, not to the bedroom, but to the terrace... I needed some time of solitude.
Stepping on the terrace, I folded my arms and gazed at the night sky. The cool breeze wrapped around me as I reflected about my life.
It dawned on me how far I'd come, heights I'd reached— too much to give up now.
If anything, I needed to be stronger, to believe in myself because surrender had never been an option written in my story.
It wouldn't now.
