"Would you like to have breakfast with me?" Carlton asked Stacy after she arrived at his place, with a glint of deep fondness dancing in his eyes for her.

"Hmnn. What is for breakfast?" Stacy asked, trying hard to control the broad grin that stuck stubbornly to her lips whenever she looked at Carlton. She looked so endearing as she saw him appear before her, and she seriously wanted to bury her face in his face if possible.

"I don't know yet. I am planning to make it," he answered, his eyes mirroring conviction that he could pull it off.

"What? Where is the housekeeper?" Stacy asked, as the thin line of her eyebrows jumped in surprise.

"The housekeeper is on a break," he answered, almost chuckling at the cute expression that was scribbled on her face.

"On a break? How will you navigate around the things she does then?" Stacy asked again in further surprise, wondering why he was grinning so blissfully.

"I can do a few by myself anyway. Gone
