Scarlett was done with her meeting in no time. I was eating lunch when a knock sounded on my cubicle. She stepped in and looked around before smiling at me.
"This place hasn't changed a bit. I think this place needs a retouch or something. What do you think?"
I shrugged. "This place doesn't look too bad though,"
She narrowed her eyes on me. "You sure? I can do anything if you want me to. If you want to be moved to another office then that's fine. I just want you to feel as comfortable as you can."
She was a really thoughtful person. Sometimes, she didn't see that side of her but I did. She cared about others even more than she cared about herself and I had seen it in the way she treated Raya and my mother.
