Omar was the head of the finance department and he was my boss, I guess.

I noticed the way he acted all sweet around Scarlett. She didn't notice but I did. I noticed how he cracked unfunny jokes and talked about her beauty and the quality of her dress.

It was either she was ignoring him or she was too busy that she didn't notice.

"I want you to show Finn his office," She said, cutting him short from cracking one of his stupid jokes. He composed himself immediately and nodded before turning to me.

"You're the new guy,"

"Stating the obvious, are we?" I replied.

He frowned slightly and Scarlett gave me a stern look. "Leave us, Omar. He'll join you outside,"
