Dinner was fun. The Casserole was amazing. Scarlett talked about how basic it was. 

"Slightly better than my mother's, but basic," She said and clicked her tongue before gulping down the orange juice she had just poured herself. 

I shook my head and chewed a while before swallowing and gulping the food down with my own glass of orange juice. I placed the cup back on the kitchen island. "I may not have tasted your mother's casserole but this? One of the best I've had. Even slightly better than my mother's. Now, you say your mother makes the worst casserole and you call this slightly better? Learn to use your English, Scar," 

She frowned. "Are you insulting my intelligence?" 

"No. I am asking you not to compare your mother's casserole dish to your cook's. If she makes terrible casserole and made you hate it, then she's terrible at making casseroles," 

Scarlett huffed and glared playfully at me before nodding.
