Chapter 99

FINN

Scarlett was acting really weird and it had me worried. She had suddenly burst into tears while I ate her out. Had me wondering if I did something wrong. She avoided the topic like it was a plague and it didn't really help that she had suddenly burst into tears for no reason. Well, I let her be. 

She joined me in the kitchen to make dinner with me. While I made Mac and cheese, she hung around me, talking about random stuff and helping with other kitchen duties till we were done cooking. 

She sank her spoon into her own share of lasagne, lifting her spoon as creamy webs of cheese pulled failingly at the spoon. As soon as it touched her tongue, she closed her eyes and moaned in pleasure and I swear I felt my groin tighten. My fingers tightened around my spoon.

She opened her eyes to look at me in surprise. "You didn't tell me you could cook this well!"

I raised a brow in confusion. "Hey, I made stir-fry. Have you forgotten?"
