Chapter 100

SCARLETT

I slipped my shades right behind my ears as soon as I stepped out of the car. We had arrived at the Hoag Hospital. This was my second time here. I had heard of how they had cutting-edge facilities. 

I was dressed in a kimono. It wasn't my style but I had to be really hard to notice. I had a silk scarf wrapped around my head, making me look like a Muslim woman from Ukraine or the sort. My facial structure didn't help either. I had a bit of Arabian blood in my body. Definitely from a very long time ago and from my father's side. He had Arabian relatives. Really distant relatives. 

Finn killed the engine and climbed out of the car. He was dressed in dark jean pants that had rips around the knee area. He wore a flannel shirt, one that was large enough to hide his large frame and also show it. His feet were clad with boots, one that went above his ankles. I don't think anyone looked yummier this morning. 

I watched as he locked the car door
