Chapter 40

Regina stopped by her office and was welcomed by Pamela, her assistant with flowers. Right from the entrance of the company, she was being congratulated by the staff.

Her sudden marriage after her father’s death and her breakup with Tom was indeed a huge surprise to everyone.

“Thank you, Pamela,” Regina smiled.

Pamela could tell that her boss was now more lively and cheerful than how she used to be.

“Permit me to say this, ma’am. You are looking even more radiant than usual. Giannis was indeed the right choice for you. I guess I’d also feel refreshed and happy if I returned from a destination honeymoon with a man like Giannis,” Pamela blurted out.

Regina simply laughed. Pamela had no idea what her marriage to Giannis was like. Of course, Giannis was every woman’s dream, but no one knew how deeply he was capable of hurting others.

She steered the conversation away from her marriage unto business, and Pamela brought her up to speed on pending matter
