Chapter 84

For the rest of the day, Regina stayed with Sandra, Matthew, and their newborn. Being around them gave her some kind of peace of mind, especially since she had been behind some sort of dark clouds lately.

Sylvia, Nikolos, and some of Sandra's fellow lawyers, as well as Matthew’s friends, stopped by to share their congratulations on the new birth. Everyone was in a merry mood, while Regina couldn’t help but feel a little broken on the inside.

“I will take my leave now. I have to be with Giannis. There’s also some work stuff I need to look into. I’ll be back in the morning,” Regina told Sandra and Matthew.

“Okay, that’s fine. I’m glad that you showed up. I want you to know that everything is going to be fine. You should also take some time out to take care of yourself and the baby. Giannis would want nothing less than that from you,” Sandra advised.
