Chapter 13. Resignation Letter

"Sir, I'm sorry. This is my resignation letter." I handed the resignation letter to Mr. Rey, the division manager.

I moistened my lips with my tongue, but they still felt dry. I felt uneasy about this sudden decision. Mr. Rey also seemed displeased because I was resigning abruptly.

"Why so sudden, Sha? Did a guest bother you again?" he asked with concern. I had been asked quite openly to date male guests with unclear intentions a few times, probably because my appearance was still attractive despite having a child.

"No, sir!" I answered bitterly. But it was almost like that incident. What's the difference between being asked to be a paid companion and being asked to be Uncle's sex toy again?

"Then what? Because of the change in ownership? Have you found a job elsewhere?" Mr. Rey became more curious.

"No, sir! It's just that I have family matters that require me to move to another city," I half-lied. But, in fact, it wasn't a lie, right? I had to leave U
