I saw my Sasha getting into a car with a man. Damn! Did she leave me for a new boyfriend? A younger guy?

"Who's that man?" I asked Donna, the assistant who was helping me familiarize myself with the hotel. She was also helping me secretly select candidates for the new hotel's GM position.

"He's Reynald Adams, sir! Division room manager, a candidate for GM with the best performance," Donna replied in a professional tone.

Damn. So, he's the top GM candidate?

"He's hitting on a staff member? Is he the best … what?" I asked irritably. I really disliked workplace romances. It reminded me of Freya's affair with Sasha’s father.

"Rey doesn't have any bad record like that, sir!" Donna defended. She looked at her iPad and added, "He... is the best employee here. All housekeeping issues have been resolved since he joined."

I nodded. I really didn't want to argue with Donna. I would find out for myself later.
