Chapter 43
Damon's POV
I couldn't believe that I was on this plane, flying to Tokyo with Elysia. Just being near her made my skin crawl. I hated her, I hated everything about her.
And yet, here I was, pretending like everything was okay. It was all for the sake of our son, Ian. I couldn't bear the thought of him growing up in a broken home, and I knew that if I left Elysia, it would be just that.
But it was hard, being around her. Every time I looked at her, all I could see was the pain and suffering she had caused me and our family. I couldn't understand how she could have done the things she had done, and I couldn't forgive her.
As the hours ticked by, I found myself getting more and more agitated. I knew I needed to try and get some sleep, but every time I closed my eyes, all I could see was Elysia's face, taunting me with her lies and deceit.
