Chapter 18. Good News

Nina’s POV

I walked over to my kitchen and got out my pot and filled it with the right amount of water. Once I was done, I placed it on the stove and turned it on. I wanted to cook a quick breakfast.

Just as I was prepping my ingredients and food items to prepare the food, my mom suddenly drifted into a deep thought.

I submitted my design one week ago. I didn’t know what the outcome could be.

As thoughts of the competition raced through my mind, my heart began to race vigorously in my chest with fear and panic. I began to have some self-doubts, what if my design was not good enough?

Almost all of the people participated in the competition, I was not the only one.

I didn’t know the probability that my design would even make it to the first stage. I was a good designer, without a doubt. But although designing jewelry was what I loved doing; my passion, something that literally cut off the negative side of the world whenever I was immersed in
