Chapter 11. His Anger

“What did you say?” whispered Benjamin, his eyes dark. He crouched down, aligning himself with Sarah, who became terrified. He grabbed her shoulder and shook her hard, “What did you say?! Did that bastard rape you?!” he snapped, glaring at her.

That scenario was utterly beyond her expectations. She thought Benjamin would burst into tears and say everything would be fine. But what happened was the opposite.

Sarah gulped. She was getting petrified. What if Benjamin lost control and started hurting her?

“Ben, don’t you know you hurt me!” she shouted, trying to free Benjamin’s hands gripping her shoulders. She didn’t realize that her confession of pain made Benjamin’s eyes flash.

“Does it hurt?” he asked, gripping her shoulder harder. She grimaced and racked her brain for a reason so she could escape from the situation, but her head was blank. She couldn’t do anything.

Suddenly, Benjamin’s hand moved to her wrist, “Get up!” he hissed in a terrifying voice.
