"What do you mean? I've told you everything about my past, my trauma, and my parents," said Sarah, half-choking.
Adrian raised his hand, tucking Sarah's hair behind her ear. "I wanted you to let me know whenever you feel sad. I understand how difficult it is to live with that trauma, but I want you to know that I will always be here to back you up. Be open to me about your feelings, and please don't keep it to yourself," he said sincerely.
Tears were scrolling down her cheeks one by one and turning into a louder sob. Her shoulders were shaking. She couldn't help it. She cried, looking down at the floor and making Adrian look surprised. "Leah, I'm sorry, did I say something offended?" he asked worriedly.
He hugged her tightly, feeling guilty. He didn't know how fragile Sarah was, even though she looked stern.
