Lyra’s POV
In the east courtyard, a gust of wind passed through the courtyard’s garden, blowing up a bunch of leaves with so much force, they completely covered the wolf sitting on a bench nearby.
Lyra didn’t blink.
Right now, she couldn’t care less that she was covered entirely in flowers.
Her body trembled as her fury threatened to be unleashed.
Around her, and in the outskirts of the courtyard, the wolves of the thorne clawhold were dragging their feet as they went about packing their belongings.
