Chapter 147. Aria’s Rage
Save for the rustle of some leaves as the wind blew around, the garden was quiet, too quiet.
Despite the two werewolves who stood in its midst.
Aria had long since frozen, her mind blank as a mix of shock and confusion rushed through her.
Around them, Sylvia’s incomprehensible words still lingered,
“Is it true that you have been sleeping with a human?”
Even now, minutes after the words had left her lips, Aria couldn’t quite process what she had just heard. At first, she thought she had misheard, that maybe she had been so lost in her thoughts that her mind had played tricks on her.
So, she blinked, and when her lips finally parted and words left her lips, they were laced with confusion,
“What... what did you just say?”
Her tone was so cold that Sylvia flinched, she blushed, her cheeks growing red--hot as she realized she was not speaking to a random wolf, this was the luna of her pack.
