Chapter 29. Lyra’s Plan

Lyra’s POV

Lyra chuckled as she walked through the snowstorm. As a werewolf, the cold didn’t bother her one bit. But the silence did.

From the corner of her eyes, she could spot her twin brother whispering to some of the guards who were escorting them to the castle.

She held her head high as she was led past the border of the Vine Clawhold. This was the second time she had visited the Vines, but she was just as impressed as she initially was by its sheer size.

They walked through some hidden trails, their guards and her twin, intent on staying out of sight for now.

Minutes later, she spotted the sprawling castle of the clawhold’s alpha. This was the kind of place that perfectly suited her tastes.

As they approached the castle doors, Lyra’s eyes widened as she spotted Alpha Alder standing by the gates.

He wore a long white fur--lined cloak, coupled with his immense height, he looked like a giant, or even a Lycan.

He was not alone
