Chapter 93. Fulfilling His Request

Aria’s POV

I watched him as he kept dressing up and I knew that his return would be till tonight.

“Khalid,” I called in a quiet tone, surprising him.

He turned and gave me a surprised stare with a quivering eyebrow.

Yeah! I know that we have been arguing and exchanging words all day, and I wasn’t surprised at the look on his face.

“You are going out.”

“Uh. Yeah, I guess that you already know,” he said with a sarcastic tone.

“Calm down, I am just asking a question,” I said, smiling at him, still trying to confuse him with my sudden behavior.

“You know that I can’t keep staying here forever,” I mumbled with a pleading gaze.

He stared at the wall for a while before turning to stare at me, “Nope, you will remain here… Whatever you need will be brought up to you,” he finalized.

My face turned suddenly in defeat as I watched him arrange his tie and straighten his clothes when trying to leave.
