Chapter 101. The Pain

Layla’s POV

You all think that it was okay to know that the girl that you so much hated is the real daughter when you are just her cousin’s sister.

Her words were always ringing in my ear about her being my superior and me always under her.

Everything seemed like it was damn working.

Nobody cares about me, not even the man that I have called father since I was a little kid.

He spends all his time with that damn girl claiming that he wanted to know her more.

He has never stared at me the way he does look at her.

This is when I felt what it looks like not to have a father or mother.

What really surprised me is how the king suddenly became fond of her.

It was as if everything was working great and going in her favor.

The pain and anger of seeing her having everything that I have always craved to have despite not having a wolf break me.

At first, she got the Prince and now she got the man that I do call father.
