Joan’s POV

I wondered if at all Lilian ever received my letters. I knew by now she must have burnt them all and she is still going to fight me.

“Intel my lord!” A messenger came.

“What is it?” I asked.

“We have received intel that the humans are planning their attack in three days’ time!” The Intel revealed.

I dismissed him and fell down on my knees and looked up to the sky and asked, “God, is this really how this is going to end? Is this how this is going to go down?” And I began to cry.

After that I wiped my tears and got ready, I was heading out. I was going to convince my friend and her superior that this war was no way to go..

“So the final decision has been taken,” Sangeeta said.

“It has been taken Sangeeta, we are going to save Lilian even if it means all our lives!” Immediately the eight of them assembled and Ruke created a powerful portal big enough for all of us.

We arrived at Lilian’s room, she was sleeping but
