Chapter 176. Too Much Control

Elaine sat on a bench outside Andrew’s room in the hospital. Over the past five days, she had cried more than she ever had while she begged for another chance with him. All the doctor had told her was that he was in a critical state and the healing was left to his body.

She wrung her hands as she waited for the doctor to return with the daily report on Andrew’s stats. Not like there was anything that had given her hope of his awakening.

“Oh, darling. Don’t fret,” Sandra said, hugging her. “He’ll be fine.”
