Chapter 11

"Hey man." Kyle picked up his phone.

He was in his room getting ready for school. As well as admiring his toned physique in the mirror.

"Kyle, what's up? I'm at Crazy Johnny's." Jeremy's voice was heard from the receivers end.

Kyle rolled his eyes as he heard the lawnmower in the background.

"Let me guess." He said. " The old man's is mowing an already clean yard."

"Oh, wow. How could you tell?" He detected the sarcastic tone in Jeremy's voice.

He laughed a bit as he imagined what his friend was going through, having to listen to Crazy Johnny's tattles.

"Give me a moment. I'll be there soon." He said.

"Right." Jeremy hung up.

Kyle finished and dressed up. He made his way to the kitchen where his mum sat on the table sipping from a cup of coffee. A plate of waffles was placed at the opposite end of the table.

"Morning." She greeted.
