Chapter 36
Jeremy didn't reply. His hand held hers as they walked along the street. A sense of deja vu was filling within him. Where had this happened before?
"It's not healthy, you know." She pushed.
"Can we not talk about that now?" Jeremy asked, an edgy tone to his voice.
Mandy shook her head bemused but relented.
They were soon deep in the woods. The previously sour mood had disappeared from Jeremy's face and was replaced with vigour.
"Someone's pumped." Mandy smirked as she watched him take off his shirt. He folded it and placed it on a large rock.
"Well, it's an opportunity to beat you once again in a race." He responded, his blue eyes twinkling.
Mandy rolled her eyes but smiled nonetheless. Her breath seized momentarily as she watched him take off the rest of his clothes. It wasn't the first time seeing him in the buf
