Chapter 37

~Dominic stood up and stretched. The book he had been reading was now closed. A few cricks were heard in the hallway as he twisted his body from side to side. 

'I still cannot fanthom the thought of feeling pain like a normal human.' He muttered under his breath.

He walked towards the window and gazed outside. The large beautiful compound shone in symphony with the beauty of the crescent moon. He shifted his gaze upwards at the moon and a smile appeared on his red lips. Three months had passed since that very day. He felt satisfied knowing that the werewolves were now disoriented. Their supposed chosen one was now dead. But his work was halfway done. The teenage girl needed to be disposed of too. And then, only then, will the mention of his name strike fear into all living beings.

The sound of footsteps alerted him and he spun around. He raised his brows as he saw a shadow under his door. 

'Who's there?' He called.

The shadow disappeared and the soun
