Chapter 40

Mandy reached into her closet and pulled out a piece of clothing.

"Sundress." She rolled her eyes. "Not my thing."

She tossed it back and rummaged into the closet. She pulled out a shirt and tossed it aside. 

"Why is this so hard?" She grumbled as she slammed the closet door. She was clad in a black lacy bra and sheer panties with similar colour as the above undergarment. She leaned her head against the closet and sighed.

Jeremy had briefed her about his family history days ago and stated his further plans. His mother wanted him to visit her brother in the next coming weeks and Jeremy wanted her to come along. He had stated that he couldn't bear the thought of staying with his cousin without going crazy. She giggled as she thought of it. Apparently, they must have some kind of funny history together.

"It's just a small vacation." She moaned in frustration, banking her head slightly against the door. "Why is it so hard to pick something to wear?"
