Then, when there was still no improvement, the captain yelled once more: "The storm is moving in from the northeast. We'd need to go farther northeast in order to avoid the brunt of the storm, but we won't be able to do so if we take all of our sails down. Are you able to help us get through it and avoid losing yet another pole?"
"We'll give it our best shot," Adallah said.
He shook his head as the skippers screamed back at her from behind their backs. "Do it quickly now, since we require it immediately, or don't do it at all. I need to give the guys their commands, and I need to do so quickly. I need your help now."
"We'll get it done, alright. This isn't easy." Magdalena promised him, as Axah stumbled to her feet behind her. Her stomach hurt and she wanted to throw up and vomit whatever foul acid she had as fast as she could get her hands on while the ship rocked side to side, making her sweat like the gods were trying to slap her body.
