While Magdalena solicits Tommy's assistance in transporting her to the ship's uppermost deck, and Adallaha now held Axah's foot alone. Tommy helped Magdalena climb into the sail. She hovered high above the ship, holding on to the ropes, gazing down at it through the misty lower level of the clouds she was looking through. However, despite the fact that the vessel had purposely begun to spin, waves were still striking it from the side, swaying it back and forth. As the wind got stronger and the waves increased in size, Magdalena requested the wind to be quiet and the storm to bypass the ships, knowing that the vessel would get caught in the eye of the cyclone if the wind would not calm down.
