The sight of the first guests approaching shook Elizabeth out of her flashback.

"Welcome, Alpha Henry," Alpha Jefferson said, trying to be as optimistic as reasonable without appearing stricken. Alpha's appearance surprised him.

Good gracious, he has been stacked on the pounds since the war ceased! Look at that thick gut! His face was tanned too—no question due to India's hot weather. He thought to himself.

Elizabeth stood recklessly by her father's side, anxious for Alpha's awareness. Already her gape had resolved on the mighty Alpha's, and my, oh my, she loved what she saw. An excellent abdomen... barely enclosed behind an intelligent waistcoat. Oh, wonderful. Her eyes had already moved to his crotch, and she could see a delightful bulge there. Hopefully, she'd earn a reasonable opportunity to adore it when he sat down. Men were likely to crouch with their legs separated, probably due to their breeches being so close.
