Chapter 154
According to Tommy's explanation of their actions, they had done no worse than the mortals who had fled to the supernatural headquarters in search of sanctuary, or who had died on the journey from the barren region to the dark forest. Afterward, the leader argued that Camellana's soldiers had previously attacked them from the barren land and that if they did so again, they would discover many thousands of eager, battle-trained veterans who could be used to augment her army's ranks.
Immediately after the leader concluded, there was a resounding roar of support from those assembled outside. Diana looked around and saw that many people in the crowd were reaching out their arms towards the leader and pleading with the row of head guardians to release their friends and family members who were now trapped in the dark forest with no possible way out due to Camellana's band of rebels. Diana sighed.
