Esmeralda was killed four days ago, and Scarlett's pain has only gotten worse in that time. Every day, vampires use different tools to hurt her. Scarlett's answer is not the same as before, though. She doesn't cry or beg anymore... Her body is used to the pain, and her spirit has stopped feeling anything.
