I was feeling a bit restless as Daniel and I visited my old pack’s territory. I was thinking about what Daniel said, and I think that I am not responsible or strong enough to lead the pack as an Alpha. I mean, just the thought of it is terrifying to me.

When we arrived at the pack, it was all empty in the swamps. I could not see a single wolf in here. It looks to me as if they have changed their territory.

“This place is deserted,” I mumbled a bit sulkily to Daniel.

Daniel looked around, then sniffed a little, and then said, “No, they are in hiding.”

“How can you tell that?” I asked curiously as I looked at his handsome face, which was totally focused.
