Chapter 24. Rogue
After every full moon, it would take me at least three days to fully recover from the involuntary shifting. It would always take up all my energy, and I would end up being unconscious for the next couple of days.
When I first shifted during the full moon, I was unconscious for a whole week, and Neal and the pack doctor thought I was in a coma. It was so painful that it took my body that long to heal.
As soon as I woke up, Neal told me about what had happened. It turned out that even they had noticed changes during my shift.
"What changes are you talking about?" I asked.
"Your shift is becoming stronger each time. I do have some theory, but it is just a theory until proven," the pack doctor explained.
I looked at Neal and then back at the doctor.
"What is your theory?" I asked.
The doctor looked at Neal and waited until Neal gave her the approval.
"I think this has something to do with your mate, King Alpha,
