Chapter 63. Dungeon
Having to sit down and wait is the worst part of all. It didn't help that I wasn't part of the pack yet because there's no way for me to ask for an update on what the hell was happening outside.
Before Lucius left, he ordered me not to open the curtains or the window. With no other choice, I sat on the edge of the bed while hugging one of his pillows. His scent helped calm me down, but anxiety was still eating me up inside.
After almost 2 hours of waiting, I heard a knock on the door followed by Lucius' voice. I practically ran to the door and fiddled with the locks until I got them open.
As soon as I saw Lucius, I jumped into his arms without caring who was around or what he looked like.
"Hey, I'm okay. It's okay," Lucius reassured me.
