Chapter 35. A Romantic Relationship
Iris blinked several times and inquired of Adolphus, "What have I done wrong?" She continued, "I was merely fulfilling my duty by covering you with the blanket." Her gaze briefly met his before she lowered her eyes.
Adolphus explained, a hint of desire in his voice, "It's those caring gestures that awaken the primal instincts within me. You're well aware of how much my body yearns to claim you."
Iris offered a sincere apology and promised to exercise greater caution in the future.
"How?" Adolphus demanded answer.
Iris again peered into his orbs shimmering greenish. "I won't do what I'm not told to," she replied, stressing upon her words.
"Tsk." Adolphus ended up chuckling. His hand went to the back of her head and he pulled her up. Iris's eyes grew bigger, her eyes started fluttering in anticipation.
