Iris stood in silence beside the window, captivated by the rain's delicate dance upon the rooftop. Its gentle cadence enveloped the room in a tranquil ambiance.
Adolphus, towel in hand as he dried his hair, broke the silence. "The rain won't stop if you continue to gaze outside. Please, come and sit on the bed."
Turning to him, Iris met his gaze and replied, "I'm quite comfortable here, Master."
Amused, Adolphus raised an inquisitive eyebrow and quipped, "Why do you always insist on making me repeat myself, Iris?"
Iris cast her eyes downward, her voice carrying a hint of contrition as she softly apologized, "Forgive me, Master." With measured steps, she made her way to the bed, taking a seat on one side, creating a subtle buffer between herself and Adolphus, the Crown Prince of the Kingdom.
